Fuzz Fest tomorrow!
Just a quick reminder that the second annual Fuzz Fest is tomorrow.
10-2 at the Congregational Church in the center of Exeter, NH.
There will be fibers and handmade goods to purchase. You can watch spinning directly off a bunny’s back! It’s a great
place to bring the (grand)kids too!
Please come look around even if you’re not demonstrating.
I came for the morning! I enjoyed seeing all the fiber activity and had some wonderful inspiring coversations with both spinners and weavers! And yes, I bought some fiber. I haven’t even spun what I got last year!
Congratulations to Sue Jones (et al) for putting on a first rate event. For those of you who missed it, it was well-attended and loads of fun. The weavers were out in force with a mix of Weavers East, NOBO and Weavers’ Guild of Boston displaying demos on floor looms, rigid heddle, kumihimo and backstrap. The Church crew served up some goodies with the proceeds going to a local food pantry. The spirit of the gathering was indeed fuzzy. Hoping for a replay next year!
